| Applications |
It reacts with a single protein in Western blots of A-431 cells (ATCC CRL-1555) corresponding to purified 130 kDa myocardial calpastatin. The antibody is specific for human calpastatin. The antibody can be used for immunochemical and Western blot applications. It is a useful tool for detecting calpastatin. |

Animals were immunized with calpastatin isolated from human erythrocytes. The antibody is specific for human calpastatin. It reacts with a single protein in Western blots of A-431 cells (ATCC CRL-1555) corresponding to purified 130 kDa myocardial calpastatin. Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells. The antibody can be used for immunochemical and Western blot applications. It is a useful tool for detecting calpastatin. |
