Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI/NdeI--3.2, 0.78; BglII--4.1; EcoRI--3.7, 0.31; XbaI--4.1.
The 5' nt of the insert (assuming it to be the first C in the NdeI site CATATG) corresponds to nt 25 in the sequence record. However the next two nt were changed by PCR from CC in the wild type cDNA to AT to create the NdeI site.
Contains the complete coding sequence and 0.15 kb of the 3' untranslated region.
