Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--3.5, 2.8, 0.92, 0.56; EcoRI--3.4, 0.56, 3.2. Codominant segregation demonstrated in 57 3-generation families. TaqI (4.0 and 4.8 kb), BglII, and MspI (1.6, 1.8 kb) also detect polymorphisms but these have not been confirmed by pedigree studies. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BamHI, HindIII, PstI, PvuII, RsaI. |
