The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt from the 5' EcoRI site): BanI--245, 518; TaqI--625, 833. Corresponds to the 3' end of the cDNA, nucleotides 1278 to 2220 of the published sequence which begins at -170. Includes sequences from part of exon 1, and all of exons 2 - 6. Contains repetitive DNA. MT24-2 (ATCC 65748, 65749) is a better probe for cDNA and genomic blotting. |
