Partial sequence cloned from human papillomavirus type 56 DNA from human vulvar condyloma
The viral sequences in the insert are the 3.1 kb BamHI/EcoRI fragment from position 0 to 3.1. These sequences encode part of E1, E2, E4, E5a, E5b, and part of L2.
This insert overlaps HPV 56 clone 2A (ATCC 40341) by 3.1 kb. The insert also contains a 2.8 kb fragment of non-HPV DNA derived from the vector pT713.
