The insert contains the following restriction sites (approximate kb from the 5' end): EcoRI--0.00, 2.42, 4.05; BglII--0.43, 2.16, KpnI--1.54, 2.58; BamHI--2.20. The 1.7kb EcoRI fragment (representing the 3' end of the CDS) from pCMVST can be used as a probe to detect mRNAs of 8.5, 7.0 and 4.2kb in rat liver tissue. |
