Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): XhoI--5.4; HindIII--3.7, 1.8; PstI--5.2; EcoRI--3.0, 2.0, 0.27; BamHI--4.7, 0.48. This probe is identical to pCAT16, except that it has only 58 bp 5' untranslated sequence. This is essentially a full-length insert, but it has not been sequenced entirely. |
