Cloned from human papilloma virus type 16 by linearizing the virus at the unique BamHI site Full-length. The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt from the vector KpnI site [nt according to GenBank accession K02718]): PstI--654 [6791], 870 [7007], 2646 [879], 5463 [3696], 6526 [4759], 7009 [5242]; KpnI--2651 [884], 7148 [5381]; EcoRI - 685 [6818], 1320 [7453]. BamHI+BglI will excise the insert with 205 nucleotides of the vector. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI/BglI--8.0, 1.5, 1.2; PstI--3.6, 2.9, 1.8, 1.1, 1.0, 0.5; KpnI--4.4, 3.7, 2.7; EcoRI--7.0, 3.6, 0.6. |
