Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII/AVAI--3.0, 2.5; HindIII--5.4; AvaI--5.4; BamHI--uncut; AccI--4.0, 1.6. pobIT contains 5' flanking sequences and is a single copy probe. This probe detects genomic BamHI fragments of 18 and 8.7 kb in normal NIH 3T3 cells and transformed cell lines. The 8.7 kb band corresponds to the clone. This probe detects genomic HindIII fragments of approximately 30 kb and 6.2 kb in normal 3T3 cells and transformed cell lines. |
