Temperature: 20.0°C Duration: xenic; Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae (ATCC 700831) and as a food source Protocol: - Scrape the bottom of the flask, quickly agitate and withdraw 0.2 ml of cell suspension.
- Inoculate into 10 ml of ATCC medium 1525 bacterized with Klebsiella pneumoniae subsp. pneumoniae (ATCC 700831).
Note: the amoebae settle very quickly, so the transfer must be done very quickly to be effective. - Incubate the flask at 20C.
