Complete Growth Medium	Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4 mM L-glutamine adjusted to contain 1.5 g/L sodium bicarbonate and 4.5 g/L glucose and supplemented with 25 mM HEPES, 20 pg/ml mouse recombinant Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and 20% fetal bovine serum
Subculturing	Protocol: Cultures can be maintained by addition of fresh medium. Alternatively, cultures can be established by centrifugation with subsequent resuspension at 1 X 10(5) viable cells/ml. Do not allow the cell concentration to exceed 1 X 10(6) cells/ml. Interval: Maintain cultures at a cell concentration between 1 X 10(5) and 1 X 10(6) cells/ml. Medium Renewal: Add fresh medium every 2 to 3 days (depending on cell density)
Cryopreservation	Freeze medium: Complete growth medium supplemented with 5% (v/v) DMSO Storage temperature: liquid nitrogen vapor phase
