Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--3.8, 3.5, 0.6; BamHI--6.0, 2.4, 0.3; HindIII--6.3, 1.6; SmaI--7.8; EcoRI/SmaI--7.8; EcoRI--7.8; EcoRI/PstI--3.4, 3.0, 0.6 (doublet), 0.3. The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt position according to the published sequence): PstI--434, 700, 1210, 1711; BamHI--2596; HindIII--3316. A full-length cDNA clone which includes approximately 0.3 kb 5' and 2.1 kb 3' untranslated sequence. Constructed by blunt-ending an EcoRI fragment before inserting it into the vector. |
