Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI/HindIII--4.0, 3.5, 2.9, 0.9; PstI--3.7, 1.9, 1.6, 1.2, 1.1, 0.7 + smaller; EcoRI--5.3, 3.5, 2.9; HindIII--11.8; BamHI--6.0, 4.9, 0.7; consistent with deposited DNA. Codominant segregation has been observed in 22 three-generation families. RFLPs were observed after competitive hybridization with total human DNA. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: MspI, RsaI, BglII, PstI, PvuII, EcoRI, BamHI and HindIII. |
