Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): XbaI--2.7, 1.3; HindIII/EcoRI--2.7, 1.3; PstI--3.9; HindIII--4.0, EcoRI--4.0. The BstXI and TaqI polymorphisms appear to be independent of each other, as with 87-1 in the DMD locus. The polymorphisms detected by this probe are contained within the DMD locus. |
