Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--2.7, 0.96, 0.7; HindIII--2.8, 1.5; PstI--3.7 + others; SmaI--3.5, 0.6; BamHI--2.7, 1.65. The 5' EcoRI fragment also hybridizes to a 4 kb EcoRI fragment from chromosome 22. The 3' EcoRI fragment hybridizes to chromosome 7 only. Includes the complete coding region for a protein of 463 aa with 115 bp of 5' untranslated sequence, 46 bp of 3' untranslated sequence, and a polyadenylation signal of AATAAA 16 bp from a poly(A) tail of 17 bp. |
