Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--3.1, 1.3; HindIII--3.3, 1.05; EcoRI--uncut; XhoI--3.0, 1.3; PstI--2.2, 1.4, 0.77. Contains continuous open reading frame. Recorded as not polymorphic by Collaborative Research, meaning either not polymorphic in 0.8% agarose gels, or difficult to work with. The C-allele polymorphism is in strong disequilibrium with the EcoRI (A allele) polymorphism. The B and C alleles are in equilibrium. There is a low background with a final wash at 65C in 0.1X SSC/0.1% SDS. Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: XbaI, DraI, BglII, RsaI. |
