The insert includes the following restriction sites (nt positions according to the published sequence): BglII--4382; EcoRI--4623, 6183, 6649, 6845, 6965; HindIII--5438, 6939; BamHI--5631; PstI--5640; BglI--6333; AccI--6376, 6409. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.3, 1.5, 0.5, 0.3: BamHI--2.9, 2.3, 1.3; HindIII--3.3, 1.5, 1.1, 0.6; PstI--5.2, 1.3; NotI--3.6, 2.9. Extends from the BglII site at nt 4382 to approximately nt 8000. The open reading frame extends from nt 207 to nt 7247. There is approximately 1 kb of 3' untranslated sequence which has not been fully characterized. Subcloned from lambdagt10.165 which was constructed by adding NotI linkers to a blunt-ended BglII fragment. |
