Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--25.0, 8.0, 6.2, 3.9, 1.5; PstI--10.0, 5.4, 4.2, 2.9, 2.7, 2.7, 2.3, 2.1, 1.7, 1.1, 0.6; EcoRI--19.4, 11.0, 8.0, 8.0; SmaI--25.0, 8.0. The insert contains the following restriction sites (nt position according to the published sequence): EcoRI--18379; HindIII--12354, 18356; PstI--12586, 14849, 19001. The 5' end overlaps the 3' end of lambdaHSA10 (ATCC 65730, 65731) by about 9 kb. Corresponds approximately to nt 10800 to the end of and 3' to the published sequence, and thus includes exons 8 through 15 and 3' flanking sequence. Also contains Alu repeats in the sequenced region. |
