Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): PstI--3.0, 0.6; HindIII--3.6; BamHI--3.6; EcoRI--3.6; BglII--uncut. The insert contains the complete coding sequence and 3' untranslated regions of the cDNA. The clone detects mRNA of about 500 bp and 700 bp in human cells and of about 500 bp and 4.8 kb (minor) in mouse cells.
