The insert contains the following restriction sites (bp from the 5' end): HaeI--4; EcoRV--177; PstI--304; XmnI--251. Constructed by modifying codon 23 from AAG to ATG, changing a StuI site to a NdeI site. The insert extends 49 bp 3' of the termination codon to the BamHI site. |
