Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--4.3, 2.4; HindIII--5.3, 1.2; EcoRI/HindIII--2.8, 2.5, 1.2, 0.5. Shows same pattern as DNA used for transformation. An EcoRI/HindIII double digest shows insert fragment sizes of 2.3, 1.0, and 0.4 kb. Codominant segregation of the TaqI polymorphism has been demonstrated in 54 3-generation families.
