The insert contains the following sites separated by (kb): HindIII- 1.1- PstI- 2.0- PstI(in the LTR)- 3.6- XhoI- 0.6- SalI- 0.3- SstI- 0.6- HindIII. Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): HindIII--8.2, 4.4; XhoI--12.6. This contains an entire copy of FBJ-MLV, circularly permuted with a single LTR. Digestion by HindIII and ligation will reconstitute an infectious viral DNA. Unintegrated supercoiled DNA. MARKER: Ap(r). This clone is circularly permuted with a single LTR.
